there have to be certain things that are assumed and not debated. not discoursified. not relitigated.
anyways this is why i don't read the atlantic and also the new york times. sorry.
i'm not interested in a robust debate about certain issues so you can sell more newspapers and/or get more clicks.
no. shut up. go away. get a hobby. stop trying to stoke the fires of controversy. maybe for you it's just a numbers game but downstream there are literal (literal literal not figurative literal) lives at risk.

it's a shame that there are some columnists whose outlook i genuinely appreciate and whose views i sympathise with in those publications. unfortunately i don't read a lot of what they say in those pages.
