there are folks like allie beth stuckey (whose name if i may be permitted a moment of churlosity produces a physical reaction in my body not entirely unlike biting into an unripe apple).
what's interesting to me is these vanguard of women who if they are successful in their aims will ensure there are no other women like them. they work for a kind of profane patriarchy that would deny them--if it could--their radio shows and podcast appearances and books and whatever.
abs has the gall to speak to men. her predecessors like elisabeth elliot at least pretended to minister to women. the scriptures say many things but patriarchists are quite sure of one thing they say and that is that women should stfu. men are speaking darling. go do some dishes or quaaludes or something. tend to the children.
i can't believe these women don't know they're working towards their own disenfranchisement. actually i can now that i think of it. here's a list of archetypes:
- the kind of delusional and degenerate person who assumes that their circumstances will never get worse; she's not necessarily a grifter though she may well be and in this day and age probably is.
- a pure grifter who's just in it to fleece some maga rubes and who perhaps knows but certainly doesn't care where her perfidiousness may lead; these are performative libs-of-tik-tok/murdoch-media types who drum up outrage for rubles.
- a true believer and perhaps the worst type of all; she knows she advocates for her own childrens' disenfranchisement and thinks that for the best; this is some real demonic stuff.
if i had to pick the worst of the lot it's for sure number one. listen: if you think your circumstances cannot materially change your eyes are not open. you are asleep.
you cannot afford to believe myths of progress and certainly not myths of steady state in a world slipping rapidly into illiberalism. we're in first-they-came-for territory right goddamn now.
and if the seven mountains/maga/doug wilson (apostates all!) types get their way you're going to be in the house breeding white christian babies and submitting to your husband until either you die or he dies or both.
